BUSCAFE, oversees a comprehensive coffee operation, encompassing cultivation on owned plantations, procurement from external growers and traders, and value addition through processing, ultimately culminating in the export of high-quality Ugandan coffee.

BUSCAFE is a proud subsidiary of Busingye & Company Limited, a diversified Ugandan conglomerate with a deep commitment to
local industries.

Busingye and Company Limited (BCL), a family-owned private limited liability company established in 1982, has a rich history rooted in passenger transportation, having operated buses along the Western route. Following the liberalization of trade in 1993, BCL strategically diversified its business into the coffee industry, establishing BUSCAFE as its dedicated subsidiary for coffee sourcing, processing, and export.

Chairman Board of Directors & Managing Director

Arthur Busingye

Arthur Busingye brings a wealth of experience to BUSCAFE, serving not only as Co-President but also as the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of our parent company, Busingye & Co. Ltd. Leveraging his educational background and over 30 years working within the family business, Arthur possesses an intimate understanding of our coffee operations. In his role, he provides strategic direction and oversees the day-to-day activities at our coffee processing and export facilities, ensuring the highest quality standards and efficiency in delivering the finest Ugandan coffee to the world.

Dinah Kasingye

Dinah Kasingye brings a dynamic perspective to BUSCAFE as Co-President. In addition, she serves as Secretary of the Board of Directors for our parent company, Busingye & Co. Ltd. A successful entrepreneur in her own right, Dinah possesses extensive experience in import and export trade, as well as wholesale and retail. Her reputation for hard work, business acumen, and entrepreneurial spirit strengthens BUSCAFE's leadership, further enhancing our ability to deliver the finest Ugandan coffee to the world.
